F BALL Stopgap P141 Primer 5 Litre
STOPGAP P141 is an acrylic primer designed to promote adhesion and application
characteristics of STOPGAP levelling compounds to non-absorbent subfloors. STOPGAP
P141 contains recycled uPVC pulver that dries to a hard, textured surface to enhance bond
performance.
STOPGAP P141 is recommended for use over non-absorbent surfaces such as ceramic tiles,
treated power floated concrete and STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes.
STOPGAP P141 is recommended when applying STOPGAP 600 over non-absorbent surfaces
at thicknesses over 20mm.
It is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating and is pigmented yellow for visual
control of coverage uniformity.
PREPARATION
Floor surfaces must be suitably prepared: sound, smooth, dry (<75% RH) and free from
contaminants that may prevent adhesion. The temperature of the floor must be a minimum
of 50
C when the primer is applied to the sub-floor and underfloor heating must be off
for at least 48 hours before, during and after application. Ensure the sub-floor is dry and
incorporates an effective damp proof membrane.

APPLICATION/COVERAGE
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. DO NOT DILUTE.
Apply the primer directly to the floor at approximately 13m2
per litre. Do not extend
coverage as this may affect adhesion properties. Avoid puddling in depressions as this will
affect drying times.
DRYING TIME
From 15 minutes at 200
C. Lower temperatures, damp ambient conditions and poor airflow
will significantly extend this time. The use of a fan is recommended to reduce drying times.
